If you are a Classical Liberalist, you will jump in and save the kid.
If you are a Classical Realist, you will walk away and let the kid drown.
If you are a Neo-Liberalist, you will jump in, save the kid, have the kid write a book of experiencing near death, publish the book, and then sell the book.
If you are a Neo-Realist, you will look around to make sure no one see's you for fear of being accused, walk away and let the kid drown.
If you are a NeoLiberal-Institutionalist, you will jump in because you believe that you will interact with this kid many more times in the future.
If you are a Socialist, you will jump in if and only if the kid is part of the proletariat.
If you are a Marxist, Leninist-Marxist, or Troskyist-Marxist, you will let the kid drown, blame the owner of the lake for not providing the means to survive, and encourage other non-owners to revolt against the usage of lakes and its owners.
If you are a Stalinist-Marxist, you will let the kid drown, blame the owner of the lake for not providing the means to survive, encourage other non-owners to revolt against the usage of lakes and its owners, and eventually drown more kids that you believe will be threats.
If you are a Constructivist, you will save the kid if and only if you remember growing up as a kid and experienced something similar to this situation.
If you are a Rational Choice, you will find a life jacket then throw it in the water to save the kid.
